INSTALLATION
CEREMONY |
To
inculcate in the hearts of young Interactors the virtue of leadership,
forbearance & benevolence, the Installation Ceremony of the Interact
Club was held in the school premises .The whole atmosphere was a perfect
amalgamation of perfection personified. The occasion began by welcoming
Rtn. Rajen Mata - President- Rotary Club Of New Delhi, fellow Rotarians
& Team Leader Deirdre Keirnan from U.S.A. along with her team of
five young ambassadors - Dylan Simel, Eric Rys, Dani wind, Kassandra
Smith & Elizabeth Graham. To infuse the love for motherland, Ganesh
Vandana followed by the Oscar winner Song 'Jai Ho' was presented.
School
Chairman Rtn. P.K.Sahgal addressed the august gathering thereby giving
the insight of the Interact Club. Naman Sikka, the outgoing President
read the Report for the year 2010 - 11 with the Presentation stating the
innumerable projects undertaken with the collective efforts of one and
all.
Then it was the turn of the Outgoing President Naman Sikka to exchange
collar with the Incoming President Sheena Garg. She highlighted the fact
that no matter the share of their responsibilities goes in different
hands but the feelings generated would be carried on as a rich legacy to
continue for long.
The culmination of the speech took place by induction of the office
bearers by the Rotarians as they took on their coveted posts ready to
bring leadership into action.
The
President Rtn. Rajen Mata was all praise for the Interactors for putting
up a great show canvassing the picture of the school as the future
winner amongst other clubs if they strive to do so. To unfold another
surprise five Best Interactors Naman Sikka, Ritika Puria, Piyush Jain,
Sonam Sahni and Nimit Arora were awarded for their outstanding services
of the club.
Now it was the time for Rtn. Prashant Sahgal to share his experience
about his visit to U.S.A. during the Youth Exchange Programme. It was
followed by the heartfelt gratitude speech and Presentation by Team
Leader Mrs. Deirdre Keirnan who was overwhelmed by the hospitality and
humbleness of the Indian hosts. A formal Vote of Thanks was proposed by
the Interact Incharge Mrs. Poonam Phillips. |
